On the First Sunday in the month we hold a Family Service. Children and young people join us and our songs, prayers and talk reflect our breadth of ages. Often we have baptisms during this service. The service is easy to follow and is printed out on the weekly Notice Sheet.
The service lasts 45mins to an hour and is followed by refreshments.
On the Second Sunday in the month we celebrate Holy Communion using the Common Worship order of service introduced in 2000. We follow an order of service in a printed booklet which is easy to follow and everyone who knows and loves the Lord Jesus is welcome and invited to share in the bread and the wine. Some people feel that they would like to come up for a short prayer instead, but there is no pressure to leave your seat at all.
The service usually lasts about an hour and a quarter and is followed by refreshments.
The Communion service on the third Sunday is a little less formal and a little more inclusive still. It uses a different form of the 2000 Common Worship material but much of the above details remain the same.
The service also lasts about an hour and a quarter and is followed by refreshments.
On the Fourth Sunday in the month we hold a Morning Service - not quite as informal as the Family or Praise Services, but not as formal as the Communion Services. The service is easy to follow and printed out on the weekly Notice Sheet.
When a month has a fifth Sunday we hold a Praise Service, or Cafe Church - not quite as formal as a Morning Service, not quite a children orientated as a Family Service. We also often hold baptisms in these services.
Services last for an hour to an hour and a quarter and are followed by refreshments.
